Our girls are the top performers in their respective classes at school. The centre required a warden to take care of the in house girls, full time. During the hiring process, we came across this lady who was going through a rough patch. She was in the middle of a difficult divorce and also has a baby girl to take care of. SARTHI decided to help her improve her life and hired her. The warden came with a baggage full of issues. But with time, we have together been able to help her find herself and she has turned out to be a confident woman, who in spite of coming from a backward region, has a forward mindset and helps the young girls realize their rights, freedom and potential. She also heads the semi-government school’s PTA forum, where the girls attend school.
